Our Caregivers
Caregivers are the heart and soul of Silver Linings. We hear from families about how much their caregivers mean to them, and we couldn't be prouder of the people on our team.
Training and certification
Every caregiver on our team holds at least a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) certification. Most are also Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and some are registered nurses. We're glad to welcome people who are new to caregiving, and they finish their certification before they care for a client.
Background checks
We're careful about who joins our team, because the people we hire go into our clients' homes. Every caregiver passes a criminal background check, child and adult protective services checks, and a driving record check before they're hired.
A team behind every caregiver
Caregivers get sick and have families of their own, and we want them to be able to take time off when they need it. We keep additional caregivers on our team to fill in, so your care keeps going when your regular caregiver is out.
